Annie Pearl Austin

On April 29, 1956 God put breath into the nostrils of a beautiful angel who was born and Gainesville, Georgia to the late Mr. Richard & Smith Mrs. Pearline Redding she was created with so many wonderful gifts and talents and use them to the glory of God. She attended Crossett High School in Crossett, Arkansas in 1973. She then moved back to Gainesville, Georgia where she attended Modeling School then later started working for First National Bank from 1976 to 1982. She moved back to Arkansas where she was employed with Georgia-Pacific from 1984 to 1999 . She worked for the Huddle House for 8 years. She moved back to Georgia and started working for Northeast Georgia Medical Center from 2013 to 2022 until her recent illness. Annie excepted Christ at a early age and was baptized at First Baptist Church. And became a member of the youth forum. Annie loved serving God and sharing his love with Gods people. In 2012 she moved her membership to Antioch Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Rodney Lackey Sr. She touched a lot of people and she never met a stranger. Annie enjoyed spending time with her sister‘s Dora Nicely Ponder and Barbara Edwards they enjoyed dancing together singing and praying together. Annie loved spending time with her nieces and nephews Gregory (Nicole) Smith, Kenny Smith, Jackie (Vic Harris) Smith great nieces and nephews Kayla Kelley, Brent Kelley, Joshua Buffington, Patrick Buffington, Breonna Smith Morgan, Kaysey Smith, Nigel Smith Kendrick Smith, Jaden Smith , Charlie Todd III, and two great nieces Nalini Williams and Jori Fleming, great nephew Keyariun Randolph. A time for transition Sunday, February 12, 2023 Annie transitioned from time to eternity. She was preceded in death by her father Richard R. Smith and Pearline Redding, her son Tito Collins, her fiancé Kent Hawes, her brothers Cluster Smith Senior, Eugene Edwards, and Early Edwards, her sisters Joyce Edwards nephew Cluster Smith Jr., niece Marshall Smith and great nephew Keenan Randolph. A time to mourn she leaves her loving daughter Tia Keith her son Frederick Austin II and her son in love Rico Hawes, sisters Barbara Edwards Reza Edwards Barbara K Edwards , Faye Edward, Lizzie Jean Edwards her brothers Otis Wimberley, Charlie Junior Todd, Wayne Edwards, Cardel Edwards Sherwood Edwards and brother-in-love James Hawes.
