She had sisters and brothers preceding her in death, Johnny Roberts, Paul Hosch, Walter Burton, Maccie Maxey, and Emma Campbell. Betty was a Daughter, Sister, Mother, Granny, Friend, and will be remembered and loved by all who knew her. For over 40 years she worked as a housekeeper, and nanny for the Rutledge family, and was a beloved family member. She also served as a housekeeper for the Cain, McWhorter, and Strickland families. She would later retire from Walmart after 20 years of service. Betty had a passion for cooking, she was best known for her Pound cakes, pies, biscuits, and rolls. Sunday dinners were always opened to friends, family, and everyone in between. No one went hungry.
