Derrick Collins affectionally known as “ Lil Fella” was born May 22, 1961 to the late Obidiah ( O.B.) Young and Carrie Mae Collins Jackson in Gainesville, Ga. Lil Fella attended Johnson High School. He was employed by Dyer Roofing & later by International Ink for several years. The lord called him home Thursday January 7th, 2021 suddenly. Lil Fella has a passion for his animals. Although he had no children his 2 dogs Lala and Lil One took the place and held his heart. He leaves to cherish 7 sisters; Carolyn Young, Vickie (Ken) Jackson, Denise Thomas, Stacy Young all of Gainesville. Danielle (Nasir) Mays of Atlanta, Ga. Stephanie ( Wallace) Kemp of Athens, Ga. Regina ( Roy) Dryden of Braselton. Two brothers Tony Young and Carlos Young both of Gainesville, Ga. He Leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory.
