Patricia Joann Wash, age 73, passed from this life Saturday, January 4, 2025, at approximately 1:46 p.m. at her residence in Jeﬀerson, GA. She was born on January 19, 1951, in Lima, Ohio to Wilburn Otis and Annie “Bea” George (Browder) Colbert Jr. Both parents preceded her in death. While living in Lima, Ohio: she was a member of Shiloh MB Church and the usher board; graduated from Lima Senior High in June of 1969 and graduated from Northwestern Business College with an Associates degree in Business Administration. She was united in holy matrimony to Willie “Boy” Earl Wash on April 19, 1989, in Charleston, S.C. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2012. She enjoyed sewing and arts & crafts. She leaves to cherish her precious memory: 2 sons: Anthony E. Colbert Sr. of Jeﬀerson, GA; Roger D. Colbert of Columbus, OH. 2 grandchildren: KiAnthonie J. and Anthony E. Colbert Jr. of Jeﬀerson, GA. A special nephew: Maurice (Angel) L. Colbert Sr. of Columbus, OH. 2 sisters: Lois J. “Jeannie” Franklin of Cincinnati, OH and Betty J. Stackhouse of Las Vegas, NV. 1 brother: Jerry J. Colbert of Jeﬀerson, GA. A mother-in-law: Irma Lee Wash-Spivey of Forest, MS. 8 sisters-in-law: Sandy Faye (Douglas) Ryans, Veronica “Bonnie” Rasco, Pamela Wash, Paula Ryans, Sonydra Wash, and Jacqueline (James) Rogers all of Forest, MS; Cynthia Wash and Cynthia Rasco all of Terry, MS. 4 brothers-in-law: Douglas Steven (Bobbie Carol) Wash of Menomonee Falls, WI, Gregory Wash and DeWayne (Diane) all of Forest, MS; Sottie (Juanita) Wash of Terry, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by; 2 sisters: Mary Ann Colbert and Rose Mary Chance. 2 brothers: Wilburn “Bud” Otis Colbert III and Timothy Colbert. 3 brothers-in-law: Walter “Pete” Chance, Ollie Franklin and Tommy “Wanky” Wash. There will be a private graveside service January 25, 2025 at West Green Grove Cemetery in Forest, MS.
