William James Pierce Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William James Pierce Jr., (lovingly known as “Billy”), the beloved son of the late William James Pierce Sr. and Isabel Pierce, was born in Brooklyn, NY. Having received his formal education through the public school system of New York City, Billy was the proud graduate of Canarsie High School, and later began classes at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. As a young man, James worked as a driving instruction for Globex Driving School, at Mary Manning Nursing Home, as well as Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, He retired at Emory hospital in Atlanta Ga. At a young age, he accepted Christ as his savior and was a member of St. James Holiness Church, in Brooklyn, NY, where the late Bishop Ernest L. White, Sr was his pastor. James attended The RhemaNation Church under the leadership of Bishop Stephen B. Hall and Pastor Vanessa Hall. James worked heavily in the ministry and was ordained Elder in 2017. Although not present in body, James has left fond and beautiful memories to be cherished by his lovely wife Alfreda Pierce, four adoring daughters, Stephanie Jordan of Brooklyn, NY, Kenya and Khya Pierce of Greenville, SC, and Quyneshia Pierce of Dallas TX, three loving step children, Nicole Jones of Stone Mountain, GA, Dewayne Jones of Conyers, GA, and Darius Holguin of Lexington, KY, mother Isabel Pierce, and three siblings Elizabeth Traylor, Valerie, and Randolph Pierce. Also feeling the loss of a father figure is his son in law Garnett Jordan Sr., son in law to be Burundi Boyd, brother-in-law Robert Traylor, and sister-in-law Celeste Pierce. There are also a host of 8 amazing grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, church family, and friends that will mourn the loss of William James Pierce, Jr.
