Theresa Bronner-Brown

Theresa Brown Bronner, age 72, of Gainesville, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on March 17, 2026. She was born on April 20, 1953, in Hall County, Gainesville, Georgia, to the late Frank Bronner and Mary Emma Goss Bronner. Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Emmanuel and Mae Dell Goss; her parents, Frank and Mary Emma Bronner; her sisters, Glenda “Goldie” Bronner Summerour and Frankie C. (Ronald Pierce) Mattox; and her nephew, Derek Summerour. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted sister, Dorothy (Paul) Edmond; her step-brother, Michael Bronner; and her step-sisters, Brenda (Derrick) Perry and Pat (Melvin) Brown. She also leaves to mourn her step-children Fred (Stephanie) Brown; and Adrian Brown. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews: Craig (Regina) Summerour, Daniel (Lisa), and her most cherished niece, Traci (Chris) Sparrow, also her one and only most loved Aunt Hattie Mae Goss along with other family and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts. Theresa shared a special bond with her loving cousin, Sharon (Blake) Samuels, who was like a sister to her. Janet Lipscomb and Melanie “Tiny” Joseph, also shared close bonds with Theresa. Theresa received her early education at Fair Street Elementary School and later attended South Hall High School. She furthered her education at Lanier Technical College and Gainesville College, earning a degree and multiple certifications in computer technology and business. Theresa built a successful and respected career in business and finance. She worked with Abria Healthcare, where she played a key role in purchasing million-dollar properties. She also contributed her expertise to the business sectors of Hewitt Taxes, Liberty Mutual, and Petco’s financial group. Her career allowed her to travel frequently, and she embraced those opportunities with enthusiasm and grace. A woman of Christian faith, Theresa was a member of First Baptist Church in Gainesville before later joining Bethel AME Church on Mill Street, where she continued her spiritual journey, unfortunately, her illness limited her regular attendance. Theresa’s family and friends would like to give a special thank you to the Crossroad staff and all of Theresa’s new friends at Crossroad. Theresa often said, they treated her with great love, care and kindness. Theresa will be remembered for her intelligence, strength, dedication, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy of hard work, faith, and devotion will live on in all who knew and loved her.
